Nintendo’s ‘Wii Fit’ sells like crazy in Europe
A British trade magazine reported recently that the revolutionary new Nintendo "Wii Fit" interactive game was selling out in Europe and the U.K. when it was released on April 25. The magazine's report said that "Wii Fit" was selling at the rate 90 every minute in retail stores in Britain that day!
The "Wii Fit" game is run primarily by the Wii Balance Board, which helps the Wii Console interpret whether or not the "Wii Fit" participant is actually doing the prescribed exercises in the "Wii Fit" routine.
The "Wii Fit" game, which sold for the European and British equivalent of $138 U.S. on the April release date, is set to go on sale in North America on May 19 for about $90.
